Biking!

Summer has arrived here in Park City - I have been taking the opportunities afforded by this weather. I'm commuting to work by bike, coaching mountain biking to kids a couple of mornings a week, and racing bikes on Tuesday nights. Above is my spanky race kit. I got a lot of comments on my socks. I moved up to the 'expert B' division - 3 laps around a single track race course through round valley. I am unsure how this race can start and finish in the same place, yet more than half of the race is climbing. Anywho, I was quickly relegated to the back of the pack, and I remained there for the whole race. I paced one of the 'sport division' racers at the end of his second lap (they only race two laps) and he decided to stay out and pace me through my final lap. I was really tired. When we got to the finish line, they had packed up and left! So I'm not that fast right now. I have a lot of season left to improve.
